Power Porridge Breakfast
Serves 1
40 g (1 1/2 oz) porridge oats
250 ml (8 fl oz) organic non-homogenised
Milk (full fat is allowed) or goat’s
Milk or almond milk
To sweeten: 5 ml (1 tsp) honey or a few
Sultanas/raisins, or 1/2 mashed banana or 3
Chopped organic dates or 3 chopped dried
Organic apricots
For added protein add either: 25 g (1 tbsp)
Sunflower seeds soaked overnight and
drained or 20 g ground almonds or 20 g
Ground hazelnuts or 20 g ground Brazil nuts
1.Mix ingredients together and simmer for
5-10 minutes.
2. Sweeten with either the honey or fruit.
3. If you want some added protein, add the
Final ingredients mix thoroughly.
