5 Habits That You Think Make You Healthier


Train regularly, eat fruits and vegetables, and you do annual reviews. It seems that everything is going so well and you feel great. But, even if you feel very healthy, does not mean that your daily habits make you be like in the future.

Hydrate you but .... drink from a plastic bottle.

You know how important it is to stay hydrated, so do not ever separated from your water bottle. There are millions of recipes on how to make a perfect dinner, what foods to eat, what not, etc. But if you stay awake for hours immersed in Facebook, in a book, watching a movie marathon may're undoing the good work of the kitchen. According to the National Sleep Foundation, most of us did not sleep enough hours, and that can make us gain weight, have anxiety, insulin resistance, hypertension and heart problems.

On the other hand, a good night's sleep stimulates the production of fat burning hormones. So if you sleep 7 or 8 recommended hours you will be preventing earn a few extra kilos while protecting your health.

Do not separate yourself from your diet but ... you compensate for its shortcomings.

If you just start a paleo diet or low carbohydrate walk carefully. Most diets that cut some kind of nutrient often not balanced and not recommended long-term follow. People who follow the same diet for years surely be taking (or will have) many shortcomings of some main nutrient.

Or just get tired of eating the same thing and end up sticking occasional binge.
You take food from home but ... your portions are larger than the restaurant.

Just because your meals are healthy does not mean you do not have to control portions that mess you from sin and back. The ideal portion would be half plate of vegetables and the other half with a food rich in protein size of a cell, a portion the size of a fist of cereals, and some fat no bigger than the tip of your finger.
You get away from trans fats but ... you do not include healthy fats.

You know that eating trans fats increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. But not all fats are. Eat healthy fats such as fish and nuts help you lose weight and stay healthy. Fats not only help absorb many vitamins but also make us feel fuller for longer. A good dose of healthy fats can be 1/4 cup almonds or walnuts, sauteed vegetables with a tablespoon of olive oil or avocado portions.
